A guide to chemical peels

If you're serious about treating wrinkles and pigmentation or just dreaming of a clearer brighter complexion, a chemical peel is where it's at.

What is a chemical Peel?

Generally acidic, a peel is designed to remove surface skin cells revealing smooth and clearer skin. This process instigates regeneration improving overall healthy functioning.

Why get a Pro Power Peel?

Peels can improve skin health and in particular, skin tone and texture. Depending on which acid is used, skin peels can help address a number of common skin concerns such as lines, dryness, dullness, pigmentation and acne scarring.

What will I experience?

During the treatment you may feel some tingling and heat as the peel gets to work. But don't worry, it's not painful and your skin will soon calm down. The treatment takes between 30-60 minutes.

Post Peel Tips

  1. Your skin may peel and feel tight for a few days. This is normal, don't rub or pick!
  2. Stay out of the sun and wear a daily SPF 30 or above.
  3. Follow the home care product instructions as outlined by your therapist.
  4. Avoid excessive heat: hot baths, saunas and no waxing or exfoliation for a couple of days.
